Really cute book. Read this book as part of my winter reading challenge. I really didn't think I was going to like it, but gave a shot. I do not regret it! The book is a great re-imagine tale of the classic Peter Pan. The book is told my…

This is NOT the Disney "Peter Pan" you know and love! "Tiger Lily" is very much on the dark side. Narrated by Tinker Bell the fairy, this YA novel takes Tiger Lily and puts her on center stage as the main character. She's sort of an…

I had a very difficult time rating this book because it had a lot of elements that I loved, and yet the ending did not make the impact on me that I was expecting it to. I really enjoy reading retellings of classic tales, and this one…

Tiger Lily made me so sad it made me angry. It was indeed a good story-- I'd heard many good reviews, and now I understand. The novel is very honest, and its characters were flawed in obvious ways, which was frustrating but also…

This was a beautiful and riveting story in my opinion. It showed a different take on Peter Pan and I loved it. I've always wanted to see Tiger Lily as more than just a supporting actress and in this she is such a fascinating an intriguing…

I recently read this for the LPL book club, YA for Grownups. From the praise I have heard of this book (both from reviewers, and readers I know), I had high hopes for this one. Fortunately, Tiger Lily even exceeded those expectations! Full…

It was such a lovely read. the love story of the wild tiger lily and peter pan is described through Tinker bell's eyes in the most charming way. The perspective is unique and the book is so well written. My eyes were misty by the end.

This book is a really interesting take of the story Peter Pan. It also gives you a view on society and love that is forbidden. This book may make some people cry, fyi so don't read it if you want a happy-go-lucky story :)

In the days before Wendy, Tiger Lily was a 15 year old girl who had a strong, unimaginable and impossible connection to the leader of the Lost Boys, Peter Pan. When Wendy, and the changes she brings with her, arrive in Neverland, Tiger…

The narrator's voice was way to american, even when they were specifically talking about Englanders. The book fell short of my expectations.

This was one of the most beautiful books I've ever read. The words, the descriptions, the flow. I loved, loved, LOVED it. It's interesting the way Anderson took the point of view of Tiger Lily, instead of Peter Pan, Lost Boys, or Wendy. I…

One of the best books I have read!!! Probably the best EVER. Impossible to put down, I was in love with Peter, I imagined myself in tiger lily's shoes on every page. I felt her pain and I cried in the end. I was so I love with this book…

Haunting, beautiful and heartbreaking. This book is a masterpiece in itself.

I really enjoyed this book. It was not a grab-you-by-the-throat suspense type story, but it was a good, clean story and a fun ride. I thought the ending was quite nice. It proves out that sometimes what a person needs is better than…

Overall I loved the book. It just wasn't what I was expecting, which is hardly the books fault (although perhaps somewhat the marketing people's fault). I honestly believe this book is marketed to the wrong crowd, and I would have picked…

"Many authors have retold, reframed, or continued the story of Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, and Wendy, but few have spun the story of Tiger Lily, the fierce, misfit girl whose love Peter ultimately rejected. In this dark, edgy tale "infused…

Set in Neverland before the Darling children arrive, this details the story of Tiger Lily, who is Peter Pan’s first love. (That’s why I picked it up.) What follows is a somewhat interesting narrative with characters who are interesting and…

Oh, this book. This book, so much. Tiger Lily is one of those stories that captures a rare heroine's voice (two actually, as Tinkerbell is the narrator). It turns the story of Peter Pan on its head, without undermining the original J.M.…

A very well written character-driven story that is a different take on Peter Pan. Can get a bit wordy at times, but I was in tears by the end, and that doesn't happen very often. Loved that it was in Tinkerbell's point of view. Highly…

This is probably one of the best books I've read in a while. As all the other comments suggest, it was an interestingly different take on the regular Peter Pan story and was easy to follow and kept me wanting to find out what happens next.…

This is very good, but a very different take on the Peter Pan story. I really enjoyed it.

I was a bit put off by all the exposition at the beginning of the book, but I saw that it served a purpose later on. I really loved the take on Tiger Lily and Peter. That single paragraph that describes Peter for the first time was…
