This book provides a great description of commitmentphobic behaviour. The categories and the manifestation of this phenomena in women, especially as passive avoidance, may be a great surprise to many. Anyone who has ever wondered about their relationship patterns, why they seem to fall for commitmentphobic partners, or why they seem to run away from relationships, should read this book. Do read it to the end, as the last couple of chapters may be the most helpful. I was told that John Wellwood's "Journey of the Heart" is a good book in that respect as well.
