I'm not really into ballet but enjoy the odd ballet/dance movie. I think this one is really just for true blue ballet fans. This movie has no plot whatsoever and I fast forwarded probably through at least 1/3rd of it. There is no storyline, no character development.
It does offer an insight into a dancer's life or a dance company but rather than 'sort of' making a movie about it, I would have preferred a real documentary. I am more than surprised it got 70% freshness at Rotten Tomatoes.
