In this book, Aurora Teagarden, known as Roe, is going to get married. Her fiancé, Martin Bartell buy her the Julius house as an engagement present. The previous owns, the Julius family, disappeared one day, never to be heard from. Roe loves the house and takes charge of all the remodeling. When Martin hires a married couple to moved into the apartment above the garage, Roe wonders if they are her "body guards" and if so why. She also wants to find out what happened to the Julius family. She always is wondering what secrets Martin is keeping from her. This book will hold your interest from beginning to end.

Agreed with Carmine1, Kirb, and kellibaker's opinions. I liked Roe single the best, especially since the husband she chose was Martin, however I love the Aurora Teagarden series (which I have read entirely), including this enticing book!

Aurora Teagarden mystery #4
I think I liked this one best, so far, of this series. More action, an unexpected conclusion. Aurora seemed less helpless Southern female, and more grownup. Getting married to a mysterious man seems to have given her some spine.

I really loved this book! I enjoy anything Charlene Harris writes and this is no exception.

A great mystery.

Aurora Teagarden is now married to the mysterious Martin Bartell and living in the Julius house. Nine years ago the three members of the Julius family went missing. Though Roe is not creeped out living in their house, of course she has to investigate. When some bones are found her investigation is ramped up with the help of Angel, her new body guard. Meanwhile, when is Martin going to give up all his secrets? Another good entry in the series except I didn't quite understand the ending.

Have to agree that I liked Roe much better in her single life but really enjoyed the addition of Angel. Still a good series and am looking forward to reading the next one!

My least favorite of the Teagarden series but still good enough to keep on reading.

The story is interesting and I enjoyed the mystery. I like Angel. I just can't stand Martin. He made this book so-so for me.
