Each month, 3-5 people get together to plan, shop and prepare a week's worth of meals for themselves and/or their families. The food can be frozen and used later in the month when money, food or time run short. Cooking in a community kitchen can save you money, time, learn new recipes, try new foods, get support from one another, gain new friendships, learn new cooking skills. Planning, shopping and cooking takes approximately 6-10 hours per month.
