I took out this book for my students it was pretty cute! Franklin has his first sleep over and invites bear to his house. They do the usual sleepover activities and the usual sleep over problems arise. It is a cute and fun Franklin book... I mean who doesn't like Franklin. Really.

Franklin wants to have a sleep over and asks his mom if he can invite Bear to stay over. Bear asks his parents if he can go and they say yes. Franklin has to wait until after dinner for Bear to come over. When he does they have a campfire in the backyard and eat hot dogs. Then they come inside to go to sleep in the living room. Bear can not sleep because he misses his room. Franklin says that they can go to his room to sleep and Bear will be more comfortable. Franklin says that next time he will go to Bear's house because Franklin can take his bed any where (his shell). They end up having a good time.
