This was a fun, fun little book featuring a green, cute and scary Picky Little Witch who learns, with her mama, to try new things.

This is a sweet little story with fun rhyming, and an easy to swallow message on trying new things - but what really shines for me are the illustrations! Marsha Riti takes the words of this story and transforms them into inviting hilarious images that completely captivate - the expressions of the picky little witch, the ingredients that go into Halloween Soup, the costumes of all the trick-or-treaters - so fun and I ate them all up!
