Cane's writing style is lacking (it is coherent, that's about all one can say about his writing) as is his research. He may have conducted very thorough research but it reads like he wanted to say his own thing and make it sound like research... bad research at that. His descriptions leaned on the vague side. He may not have been clinical but I think the reason he had to state kissing was fun so many times throughout was because you may have forgotten from his descriptions! Might be good if you are feeling rusty or lacking confidence and definitely good if you are looking to name certain techniques (though probably not formal names). However, the book won't bring a sense of fun. Maybe read, but certainly not worth keeping.
