The most important thing I have taken from this book is to look at the labels on the food I eat. I thought I did look at labels, but realized all I looked at was the amount of calories, carbs, and fat were in my food. I never thought to look farther. When I started to, I was shocked to discover so many foods I assumed were unaltered, instead had a number of other ingredients added to them. I am currently about halfway through my first Whole30 and so far so good. If you need motivation, this book can help!

If you're interested in doing a processed food detox, this is a good, basic plan to follow. It seems a bit too restrictive to be feasible long term, but for a 30 day period, it seems like both a challenge, but also something that most people could accomplish.

Interesting look at nutrition and food choices. If you like a challenge this may be for you. Can you live without sugar, grains, legumes, dairy and alcohol for 30 days? You will be surprised at how great you feel!

This book is very motivating- I've been wanting to eat health and focus more on a plant-based diet, rather than processed foods. In addition, there are modifications for vegetarians and low-FODMAP people.

The book guides you with shopping lists and recipes.
