On March 8, 1971, eight ordinary citizens broke into an FBI office in Media, Pennsylvania, a town just outside of Philadelphia, took hundreds of secret files, and shared them with the public. In doing so, they uncovered the FBI's vast and illegal regime of spying and intimidation of Americans exercising their First Amendment rights. Despite conducting one of the most thorough investigations in its history, the FBI never solved the mystery of the break-in.

This is a must watch! If you're interested in what happens behind the scenes in politics, this is a good, real life documentary. It happened then, 1971. But it happened before then and afterwards. We are told to walk in life with our eyes open. 1971 is a good prime!

This is an absolute must view for anyone involved in protest (active or passive) against the current administration. If you own a pink hat, have written to your congressperson, griped on Facebook, or have started listening to Trevor Noah or Samantha Bee to vent your frustration, you must watch this video. We can make a difference in how our government treats its citizens--people have done it before, and we can do it again. Very uplifting message from some truly heroic people.

Civil disobedience is not an outrageous idea; because, it is in fact at the center of American democratic philosophy. Daniel Ellsberg.

If all of us simply did what we thought was safe, that would let people who want to take our government away from us get away with that. They would be safe. We would not be safe.
