A very well researched book - his family history certainly paints a picture of a troubled man - wanting to be a Rockstar but not really prepared for it. The heroin habit doesn't help things either does it? An intriguing read.

Much has been written about Kurt Cobain since it was published, but "Heavier Than Heaven" remains the definitive biography. Cross wades through the mythology of Cobain to provide a lucid account of the life and tragic death of a modern pop culture icon.

A well researched book on Kurt Cobain.
Very well written and easy to read with some good photos.
The downside is that some of the things written about Kurt in the book are pointless or creative license.
