Add a CommentWould not want to spend time with any of the married couples here in real life so I also didn't want to waste my precious free time listening to (reading) them or their thoughts. Storytelling was also more of a gossipy approach which to me is tiresome.
This was a fun beach read and I finished it on a recent vacation. Liane Moriarty-esque, with secrets, twists, and turns. A bit predictable but it's a quick read and kept me engaged.
Boring
The last resort kept me guessing. It is a very-well written suspense. We follow three couples, one being the therapists and the other two, couples who need help with their marriage. They all have secrets and we discover them little by little. The story is written in a way that you learn facts in each chapter or day, should I say. I highly recommend this book. You won’t want to put it down.
I have put Mrs Stapley previous books on my reading list for my vacation. Looking forward to discover more of her stories.
