Jurassic park is a really good, and well-built movie released in 1993. I loved this movie, because it shows how virtual animations and extinct animals combined can make an adventurous, funny, and intense movie. I would hundred percent recommend this movie to people. I would recommend this movie to families with kids between the age of 8 – 13 because you need a mature audience to watch this movie and understand the concept of the movie. Something that was done really well about this movie is the animations of the dinosaurs. This brought a really good feel to the movie. Another thing that was really well done in this movie is the concept of the movie. Extinct dinosaurs interacting with humans is really interesting to see how it turns out, and that made the movie very interesting. @Minion28 of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Jurassic park is a excellent movie directed by Steven Spielberg. A wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park with living dinosaurs made from DNA. Before opening the park to the public, he invites a top palaeontologist, paleobotanist, a mathematician and his two grandchildren to experience the park. However, the theme parks security system breaks down and the dinosaurs break out of their cages! This is a fabulous movie starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. What makes this movie stand out even more is the special effects. Even though this movie was made back in 1993, the dinosaurs look very realistic. I enjoyed the comedy and action in this movie and I give it a 5/5. I would recommend Jurassic Park to anyone age of 9+. @GymGirl of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Omg, this was an amazing movie. When the most recent one came out I had to go back and re-watch all of the past movies. This is the first one and honestly, you will not be disappointed. This movie has action and thriller scenes which always kept me on the edge of my chair. I loved the characters in the movie and all of the different dinosaurs we got to learn about in this movie. I totally recommend this book to all people and of every age. I give this movie a 4.7 out of 5 stars. @terrificbooklover of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library If you want to see a real life dinosaur, this is the movie for you. This movie is relatively short, but highly suspenseful, thrilling and adventurous. It will take one back 65 millions years, to appreciate the sheer savage beauty of the magnificent dinosaurs. The characters in the movie are 3 dimensional - meaning that they have different stances on various issues. By introducing characters such as palaeontologists, palaeobotonists, mathematicians, lawyers, zoo keepers, computer scientists and engineers, the movie is ever more interesting due to the different aspects each unique characters take. Although this movie may focus on the sheer capabilities and action of the dinosaurs, viewers should not forget what this movie is warning humanity of. This movie was written and filmed during the 90’s, in which mankind had just began to advance into the groundbreaking and ever changing era of advanced technology. The movie warns readers about the advancements of science. The pros, the cons, and our responsibilities as humans as being a key role in shaping our world. 4.5/5. @Lime_Latte of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board
