I expected this book to be like Matched (which I found to be very cliché and boring), but was totally surprised and amazed at how interesting and engrossing Delirium was. The idea of love being a disease, and people forced to be cured from it, was original, and Lauren Oliver managed to make the book different and unique than other teenage dystopian future stories. The characters had realistic thoughts, personalities, and did actions that would seem reasonable in the real world. I personally enjoyed this book, and thought Lauren Oliver did a great job writing it. Would recommend!
